A Business Plan is an essential document. It provides a written scope, blueprint, and action plan for your business to follow. As such, a Business Plan is an organic document that should be updated as your business grows and as your objectives and vision for the future change.

Furthermore, a Business Plan is often a requirement to gain access to both funding and grants.

Do you require support to produce or update your Business Plan? The Farming Connect July skills window is open until the 29th of July 2022 with all training courses subsidised by up to 80% for registered individuals*

Farming Connect’s Business Plan training course. This course will look at activities involved with running your business, such as managing, monitoring, planning and organising. You'll consider your own business and the issues associated with developing a business plan. This is an interactive course which will give you time to consider the future of your business and support you to complete a template business plan.

Visit both Tyfu Cymru and Farming connect at the Lantra Wales building during the Royal Welsh Show to find out how you can best utilise the support available for your horticultural enterprise.

Tyfu Cymru will have advisors on hand, offering you an opportunity to seek expert advice to give your business plan the best chance for success – find out more about the advisors available here.

Please note you cannot apply for skills funding without completing a Personal Development Plan (PDP) – help will also be readily available at the RWS to complete your PDP and explain the application process.
