Pumpkin Network – Planning for opening for 2021 Season

This meeting is aimed at established growers who are part of or would like to join the Tyfu Cymru Pumpkin Network.

Chris Creed (Senior Horticulture Consultant, ADAS) will deliver an interactive workshop that will prepare growers for a successful 2021 pumpkin season. He will be discussing crop progress throughout Wales, looking at crop levels and ripening. He will also be covering issues surrounding farm experiences, crowd management, marketing, and discussing pros and cons of booking systems. Finally, he will talk about production issues and possible top up supplies where the crop has underperformed.
