Over the last 100 years Wales has lost 97% of its wildflower meadows. At Waun Las National Nature Reserve, managed by the National Botanic Garden of Wales, 40 acres of wildflower meadows have been established, supporting a wide variety of plant species, wildlife and fungi.

The National Botanic Garden of Wales is supporting the recovery and development of these meadows and their associated biodiversity through the collection of both wildflower seed and green hays. To find out more read their blog here: Our Blooming Meadows are Booming - National Botanic Garden of Wales
