On Friday the Minister issued a written statement and press release outlining a package of support for horticulture alongside other support for Welsh farmers, foresters, land managers and food businesses

Horticulture Development Scheme:

A vibrant horticulture sector is high on the Welsh Government's agenda for developing a sustainable agricultural industry as it delivers a range of environmental, social and economic benefits. Support will aim to deliver key issues, like sustainable development, training, improving business performance and efficiency, as well as constantly enhancing the quality and reputation of Welsh produce. 

The Horticulture Development scheme opened to existing horticulture producers on 4 April 2022.
