A workshop on PYO fruit, including strawberries and raspberries, plus add-ons with broad beans and flowers.

A chance to see a business which started in 2019 from a green field, now in their fourth year of production. Usually, a good mix of new and experienced growers, so expect a lot of sharing of information and ideas. Useful for those considering starting up, new entrants and existing producers.

All cultural aspects will be covered; programmed cropping June to September, integrated pest and disease management (IPDM), crop nutrition, hydroponic growing, varietal selection.

  • 10:30 - Arrival
  • 11:00 - Crop walk and discussion
  • 13:30 - Lunch (which will be provided)
  • 14:30 - Finish
