The webinar covers the latest updates and best practice for plant protection in field daffodil production, with particular focus on disease and weed control. This includes an update on the performance of new and existing herbicides for weed control in daffodil from the AHDB SCEPTRE Plus program, including a discussion of dormant and post-crop applications and the efficacy of different tank mixes with weed specialist Angela Huckle. The webinar also includes an overview of the SCEPTRE plus trials investigating alternative fungicide products for the management of white mould and smoulder in Narcissus from ADAS pathologist Dave Kaye. Chris Creed also joined the webinar to provide an update on the situation in Wales for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
