Pheasant Acre Plants is an established family business operating from nursery premises near Bridgend in South Wales. They specialise in the supply of Gladioli corms, Dahlia tubers, Spring and Autumn Blubs and plugs and plants for all seasons and have received numerous Gold Medal Awards.
Rob Evans – Owner will give us a tour of the nursery sharing his vast knowledge on Dahlia’s and Gladioli in particular. He will talk to us about his experiences of showing at RHS and regional flower shows including the prestigious RHS Chelsea flower show.
A part of Robs business is growing Dahlia’s and gladioli’s as cut flowers. He has a new flower field which he will give us an exclusive tour of, he will be supplying a local farm shop with beautiful floral bouquets of seasonal blooms.
This Study visit is funded by Tyfu Cymru and a brunch at Forage Farm shop and kitchen will be provided. Attendees will need to provide own transport.
