Applications are now being accepted for the second phase of a programme for new entrants in farming who are interested in growth and development through mentorship. The Farm Mentoring Programme, a pilot now in its second year, is a partnership between the Landworkers' Alliance, Organic Growers Alliance, CSA Network and Ecological Land Coop.

The programme is structured around building a supportive learning relationship between experienced practitioners and new entrants in the sector. The support includes one to one and group mentoring between January and September 2021, as well as a group event and webinars to support the scheme.

The Farming Mentoring Programme is aimed at those who have launched their own farming operation within the past five years or have been working in a decision-making role. It is open to people based in the UK and from across all sectors of the industry.

Places are limited and early application is advised. The programme is discounted for members of the Landworkers' Alliance, Organic Growers Alliance, CSA Network and the Ecological Land Coop.
