Following the success of the Soft Fruit Network which launched earlier this year, Tyfu Cymru are pleased to announce three new networks to support Welsh commercial growers by providing study tours, workshops, expert advise, training and networking opportunities.

Specialist support launched for Pumpkin growers to capitalise on opportunities...

As demand for UK and Welsh produce and day out experiences increase Tyfu Cymru are excited to launch the Pumpkin network. 

Aimed at pumpkin growers and pick your own pumpkin businesses the network will offer training such as pricing, creating experiences, customer service, on site considerations, added value activities and reducing waste as well as study tours to other commercial growers and valuable expert one to one technical advice specifically tailored to your business.

Building on the success of the Tyfu Cymru Soft Fruit Network with launch of second phase...

Following the success of the Soft Fruit Network Phase 1 where the Tyfu Cymru project brought together and established a network of growers, we are pleased to be able to offer training and to build on the success of this network. During phase 1 Welsh growers were invited to participate in five soft fruit farm-based study tours across Wales and commercial growers in England. These study tours gave Welsh growers the opportunity to see and study a range of commercial soft fruit businesses and operations
 
Now in its second phase, the aim is to build on the learning from the tours and develop the network further with a blend of one to one, targeted expert technical advice tailored to your business and further training days.

New Top Fruit Network launched for commercial growers...

We are pleased to also open ‘Tyfu Cymru – Top Fruit Network’ which will be formed of selected commercial Welsh top fruit growers.

Tyfu Cymru – Top Fruit Network will focus on delivering training to Welsh commercial top fruit growers, bringing together eligible businesses and developing their knowledge and skills through a blended approach of study tours, specialist resources and one to one expert technical advice.
